Graduate Catalog - This is where you go to get answers to almost all of the questions you have about graduate programs, requirements, rules, etc. Bookmark this link and use it for reference. You are responsible for knowing what is in the catalog.
Effective Spring 2016, a statement of purpose will be required. The statement of purpose should be approximately 500 words describing the applicant's background and career goals which should include:
Applicant's background in teaching and education
Experience with using/integrating technology in the classroom
How their goals tie into the mission of the EDTC graduate program
What the applicant hopes to achieve by completing the program
Do you want to be a graduate student? There are important things you need to know about the differences in being a graduate student vs. being an undergrad student. Many students are unprepared for the changes that being a graduate student makes on their lives as the time commitments, academic expectations, and social aspects of graduate college are very different.
If you want to be certified as a teacher you might want to consider the Masters in Secondary Education or Masters in Elementary Education which lead to teacher certification. The Educational Technology program does not certify teachers for classroom teaching. ▲
